Since I was young, I have always sought out nature for its calming affect and beauty. I venture out frequently to paint on location in my picturesque province. Painting in nature has greatly informed and pushed my paintings to a higher skill and emotional level. Besides painting scenery, I love to paint still life from life in my studio. All my work is painted from life in order to capture the energy of my subject.
